You have two extraction modes. "All Pages" splits every page into its own PDF file, which is great for breaking apart scanned multi-page documents. "Custom Range" lets you specify exactly which pages you want using a simple syntax like "1-3, 5, 7-9". You can also choose whether to download extracted pages as separate files or combined into a single new PDF. The tool supports PDFs up to 50 MB with hundreds of pages. Splitting is handled by pdf-lib, which copies pages from the original document structure without re-rendering them. This keeps the process fast and preserves the original quality of text, images, and vector graphics. All processing runs in your browser using JavaScript and Web Workers. Your PDF is never uploaded to any server, making it safe to split sensitive or confidential documents. The original file is never modified.
